Have you seen this?
Technorati is a popular blog search engine. If you’re trying to build your writing platform you might want to check out this site. It reaches over 100 million monthly users.
This was taken from their ABOUT page:
Technorati was founded to help bloggers succeed by collecting, highlighting, and distributing the global online conversation. Founded as the first blog search engine, Technorati has expanded to a full service media company providing services to the blogs and social media sites and connecting them with advertisers who want to join the conversation, and whose online properties introduce blog content to millions of consumers.
The leading blog search engine and directory, Technorati.com indexes more than a million blogs. The site has become the definitive source for the top stories, opinions, photos and videos emerging across news, entertainment, technology, lifestyle, sports, politics and business. Technorati.com tracks not only the authority and influence of blogs, but also the most comprehensive and current index of who and what is most popular in the Blogosphere.
Technorati is a great place to hang out to do research and find information on your topic. It’s a one-stop shop. I thought it would be great to have my blog there too. So I joined.
I went through the process of listing everything about Random and filling out their form. When I was done they sent me a claim number. In order for our blog to be considered, I need to include this number (SEBPFVZ2N5WK) (PUS4PSZYR9VZ) in a post (like this) which verifies I’m the author of this blog.
How Tehnorati Could Benefit You
If they accept your claim you could gain significant exposure. If they don’t accept your claim it’s still a great place to find relevant content from some of the most respected experts on the Internet.
It could help you brainstorm article and fiction ideas, too.
